Campaspe Shire Council required the existing stormwater drainage basin to be upgraded with:

• Replacement of 2 existing pumps
• De-silt of basin
• Upgrade of electrical supply system

Girdwood Contracting designed a pump station including:

• 3x Submersible pumps capable of 402 litres per second
• Concrete structure including a stainless inlet screen for trash removal
• DAVIT arm crane for maintenance 
  -removal pump sets

Construction of the above included sheet piling ground support system as a high water table was encountered, constant monitoring of whether activity due to the works taking place inside of the basin.
